Other Treatments for Women

Vaginal Rejuvenation – Votiva

Female Hormone Therapy (BHRT)

Women need a balanced endocrine system as hormones regulate our bodily functions. Throughout different stages in our lives our bodies change. As we age our hormones (oestrogen, progesterone and testosterone) decline, which impact our behaviour and our functioning. BHRT is a process of re balancing the naturally occurring hormones which have depleted due to age. The Mews Practice is in partnership with the Marion Gluck Clinic to bring you this service.

Sexual Health Counselling and Sex Therapy for men and women

Hannah is a Psychosexual therapist with a background in addiction therapy. She offers an integrated approach to sex & relationship therapy from a Psychotherapeutic perspective with a special interest in Holistic Pelvic Health which allows her to address the emotional, mental and physical aspects of an individual for their ultimate well-being.

She is a registered member with the college of sex & relationship therapy (COSRT), the national college of psychotherapists (NCP) and the Complementary Medical Association (CMA).

Working integratively, Hannah uses a range of styles to help explore and understand the presenting issues in your own individual journey. Sessions are designed to teach you how to best support yourself and to empower yourself within your sexuality and through all stages of womanhood, with a clear emphasis on the dynamic relationship between the body and the mind. She believes that there is no relationship of greater importance than that between you and your physical body.

Sessions will focus on body-mind integration to facilitate healing and empowerment within all sexual and relational experiences, particularly the relationship with self. Offering tools to experience embodiment: having more awareness in the body and being able to regulate your overall health. The skills you will learn are foundational and essential to health and well-being, offering more choice in how you are in your internal world, in turn, your outside world.

Committed to helping patients return to their innate wisdom within and to listen without judgment and provide a supportive safe space, Hannah understands the internalised pressures and experiences often encountered through intimacy and sexuality. She aims therefore, to work with these conflicts as healing opportunities and to help resolve and release any stuck emotions where, prolonged over time, can start to manifest in the physical.

Within sessions Hannah will provide you with educational information where appropriate and will work psychotherapeutically with the experiences and feedback from you. Hannah’s approach is Educational, Behavioural, and Psychotherapeutic.
